Taylor thought this was the best one...a "great idea Mommy!". I think we looked at 999,999 different boxes of valentines. The boys were sooo easy. Caleb picked one with hot wheels. Kurt loves KitKats, so that made his decision. Joshua, ok, Joshua did change his mind twice, but eventually settled on the Fundips that you write your name on. But Taylor...OMG!!! "Hey Tita, what about the princess ones?" "No", she would matter of factly state. That was the response I got to probably about 10 different boxes. By now, the boys are antsy and touching everything around, including eachother. Ashley, the oldest has picked out something to pass out too and trying to look like she's not with us. I am getting frustrated and thinking what the heck am I doing bring them all to the store at the same time for this?? I am also positive security is watching us through the camera. Through clenched teeth and a smile I ask my littlest angel again, this time with a box that had about 3 years worth of dust on it and I think it has been here since the original Shrek movie came out. Again I was shot down. But wait...what was this...was she actually holding a box longer than 5 seconds. Was she gathering her 5 years worth of knowledge to make sure that this was the one.....YES! It was a create your own valentine kit. The search was over and we were free to go. I gathered my troops and proceeded to check out.
When we got home it was too late to start, so baths and bed were had instead. As soon as they were home from school, they dove into the personalization of their commercial valentines. 15 minutes later the boys were done and off playing, but not Taylor....Here she is, burning the 8:30pm oil..
